My name is Emma Jaworski. In 2018, I earned my associates in Natural Resources at Umpqua Community College. I transferred my credits to Oregon State University's Ecampus. In 2020, I completed my bachelor degree of Natural Resources with the Fisheries and Wildlife Option. In my free time, I go on hikes. Each hike, I bring my camera to capture scenery, wildflowers, and wildlife. My current camera is a Canon EOS R5. As a kid, I saved up money from chores to buy a cheap Sony camera. Most of my pictures were of birds, snakes, lizards, and frogs. My love of photography has stemmed from my love of nature, and I want to take you along my journey.
Due to my natural resource classes, I know a lot of taxonomy for Oregon's plants and its wildlife. On my Instagram posts, I may describe some flowers in detail. I have worked three seasonal jobs as a botany crew member. During the summer of 2018, I was part of the Oregon Youth Conservation Corp. Working for them, I was a botany crew member surveying sites for the top three trees, shrubs, and forbs. The summers of 2019 and 2020, I worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a biological science technician (plants). Currently, I work for BLM as a wildlife biologist.
I may post a lot of pictures of plants, but it will be informing you on the importance of native flora and the harm of invasive species. I hope you enjoy my pictures. I do it for fun, but I decided to make this site, so you can see more pictures I've taken. Thank you for visiting my photography site!
